  1. The Lookout Conservancy is now helping Lookout Mountain obtain a new 5-acre park at Sim's Property. About a year and a half ago, the city tried but failed to receive a grant to buy the property from the Sims family and turn it into a park. (The Chattanoogan)
  2. Walden's Ridge Emergency Services is set to open new fire station this Sunday. The new station will replace the one that was built in 1980, features a 20,000 square foot building with a community room, sleeping quarters for 16 personnel, integrated training props, art audiovisual systems and a Decontamination Room.   3. Matt Hullander has officially announced his candidacy for Mayor of Hamilton County. (The Chattanoogan)
  4. A Hamilton County Schools music teacher was recognized as one of the CMA's Music Teacher For Excellence. (Press Release Desk)
  5. The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office is currently investigating the fatal two-vehicle crash that happened this week on Highway 58. (Chattanooga Times Free Press)
