Here are the top three stories today in Chattanooga:

  1. Chattanooga's Moon River Festival has officially announced its performance lineup. The festival will be in September at Coolidge Park. Prospective attendees can now sign up for Presale Access codes via SMS notification for festival tickets. Click to see the full festival lineup. (WDEF News 12)
  2. Chattanooga's Jewish Cultural Center has re-opened its doors to the community. The center underwent interior renovations to attract more visitors. The current building has served the Chattanooga Jewish community since 2002 and hopes to continue that tradition for at least the next 20 years, according to the director of the Jewish Federation of Greater Chattanooga.   3. An affordable housing project for a three-acre lot across from Brainerd High School has been narrowly approved by Chattanooga planners. The project is estimated to cost between $12 and $15 million. About a dozen local residents have been opposing the project with claims that the three-story structure would clash with the single-family neighborhood. (Chattanooga Times Free Press)
