  1. A rash of recent fires at the Grove St. apartments in Chattanooga have residents concerned. Eight families lost their homes to the fire that occurred in the apartment complex on Labor Day. A public records request found that Chattanooga Fire Department (CFD) has responded to five fires at the complex in the last year, and nine in the last five years. (WTVC)
  2. LifeSpring Community Health is working to vaccinate the most vulnerable against COVID-19. Kathryn Briggs, LifeSpring Community Health Development Director, says getting some of the most vulnerable vaccinated means going to them and working through hesitancy, fear, and a lack of trust. They say taking a holistic, relational, and culturally appropriate approach is important. (WRCB-TV)
  3. A Hamilton County School board member said the administration "has felt like they're drowning" as they battle the spread of the Delta variant with little help from the state. (WTVC)
  4. Local volunteers are needed for an upcoming National Public Lands Day Project taking place on Lookout Mountain on Sept. 25. (The Pulse)
