- Chattanooga's new police chief, Celeste Murphy, has outlined her vision for the Chattanooga Police Department. The chief reportedly wants to modernize the department while focusing on victims, crime prevention, and the city's increasing overdose issues. She also discussed a program she wants to bring to the department meant to address quality of life issues - the pre-arrest diversion program. (MyFox Chattanooga)
- Esteemed Hamilton County EMS Training Lieutenant Marita Thatcher retires after serving with the department for 31 years. She has been the department's training lieutenant since 2019 but has retired to spend time with her family. The community wishes Thatcher a happy and healthy retirement. (The Chattanoogan)
- The Chattanooga Police Department has arrested Abraham Emmanuel Jackson, 49-years-old, in the armed robbery of a Dollar General store. The incident occurred on Mar. 28 with the entire incident being recorded on surveillance cameras. Jackson has been charged with aggravated robbery and aggravated kidnapping after being identified by multiple people through Crime Stoppers. (The Chattanoogan)
