  1. According to a press release on Monday, the Chattanooga airport is expanding its service with a nonstop route to Miami starting in May. This new service will allow passengers more travel options. American Airlines will begin offering nonstop services to three Florida cities on Saturday, May 7. The announcement comes as Chattanooga Airport attempts to meet increased demand from passengers who are traveling for leisure and business. (foxchattanooga.com)
  2. The Chattanooga River Market will open in alignment with the spring break season this year. The River Market will be open for five consecutive full weekends. Beginning Mar. 12 through Apr. 10, the Tennessee Aquarium Plaza will be the center point for families enjoying downtown Chattanooga. The River Market is organized by the Chattanooga Market and has been operating for over a decade. (The Chattanoogan)
  3. 2022 marks the 150th-anniversary of Chambliss Center for Children serving children and families in the community. Throughout the year, the organization will highlight the history and the people who helped bring the community to where it is today, and they will celebrate with a community-wide event later this fall.
