🌱 Hamilton County School Grant + CIT Students Capture Flag

Here are the top stories in Chattanooga today:

  1. Some Chattanooga State CIT students have participated in a virtual game of Capture The Flag. A total of 23 teams from around the country participated in this entry-level beginner competition that is designed to appeal to the largest amount of students possible. Participants get a feel for the cyber process in an environment where competitors learn logical thinking skills and teamwork. Way to go, guys! (Press Release Desk)
  2. Some local veterans are participating in charity work in order to raise money for the placement of wreaths on the graves of veterans. (WRCB-TV)
  3. The Hamilton County Schools Foundation has received a $25,000 grant that is to be used to create "Support Care Closets" for students. (Press Release Desk)
  4. The Parkridge Hospital workers in Chattanooga are now required to get vaccinated against COVID-19 by January 4th, 2022. (WTVC)
  5. Chattanooga police are seeking your help with their investigation of a fatal hit-and-run that killed a 40-year-old woman on Friday night. (Chattanooga Times Free Press)
