- The Chattanooga Police Department responded to North Chattanooga Chamber Council business owners' concerns of "threats" from the homeless population in the area. "If you are a victim of something that is committed by a homeless person, we need you to not only file a report but come to court on it," said CPD Lieutenant Heather Williams. - The Chattanooga City Council adopted a plan to revitalize the Westside community during its Tuesday meeting. The plan will be implemented over the next 10 years.
