🌱 Washed Ashore Exhibit + Free Family-Friendly Summer Concert

First, today's weather:

Here are the top three stories in Chattanooga today:

  1. The Tennessee Aquarium will be exhibiting an art exhibit made out of recovered plastic debris. The exhibit is appropriately titled "Washed Ashore." The new exhibit will be on display for aquarium guests to enjoy until Sunday, Oct. 30, 2022. (Chattanooga Pulse)
  2. A family-friendly free concert will be at the Southside Community Park this summer. The concert will be on Saturday, Jun. 25 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The concert will feature local food, retail vendors, a DJ, and a live band. Proceeds from the concert will be used to support the Net Resource Foundation's Leadership for Life program. (The Chattanoogan)
  3. The Chattanooga City Council has approved the construction of two apartment complexes. According to the Chamber of Commerce Vice President, housing availability is one of the main factors in increasing the city's job growth. The two new apartment complexes will provide housing for new residents moving to Chattanooga to pursue a job. (WDEF News 12)
