  2. Chattanooga's First Volunteer Bank will rebrand itself to unify its look and feel. The bank will rebrand to Builtwell Bank this year at its 24 different branches that span 11 counties in Tennessee and Georgia. The rebranding will reportedly occur later this year. (The Chattanoogan)
  3. Chattanooga-based artist Cessna Sharp Decosimo has been indicted by a Hamilton County Criminal Court grand jury on charges of sexual battery and indecent exposure. Decosimo will be facing up to six years in prison and up to $3,000 in fines if he is found guilty. According to Decosimo's attorney, his family is cooperating with the investigation.
