Here are the top three stories in Chattanooga today:
- The final phase of construction work started yesterday (Mar. 7) for a new trail that will connect Stringer's Ridge to White Oak Park. This phase of the "White Oak Connector" is designed to improve the multi-use gravel path currently linking the two public parks. Initial construction started in 2020, which created a single-track trail leading from Stringer's Ridge toward White Oak Park. When construction is complete, over 700 residents of Red Bank and Chattanooga will live within a 10-minute walk from the parks. (The Chattanoogan)
- In August, a lucky Chattanooga family won a year of free travel accommodations in an Airbnb contest. Now, Stephanie Hays, along with her husband and son, are at the midway point in their journey around the world. Hays says the promotion is "absolutely a dream. It still doesn't seem real."
