• GAC names top women track & field performances (magnoliareporter.com) — A Columbia native, Harding senior Josie Parks, has been named the Great American Conference women’s track athlete of the week after smashing a 17-year-old school steeplechase record. Her 10:26.96 at the Bryan Clay Invitational now leads the GAC and ranks sixth nationally in Division II. 
• Registration Opens for 4‑H Junior Camp at Camp Ridley (wgnsradio.com) — Camp Ridley in Columbia will host 4‑H Junior Camp June 8–12, giving area kids a week of swimming, zip lines, and nature exploration close to home. Rutherford County families can register online, apply for scholarships by May 1, and call the Extension office with questions about costs, activities, and whether the camp is a good fit.
