Accused Child Pornographer Commits Suicide In Nashville Hotel Room: Police

A Florida teacher facing child pornography charges was found with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound in a Nashville hotel.

NASHVILLE, TN — A Florida teacher wanted on child pornography charges was found dead from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound in a Nashville hotel room Friday, according to Metro Police and the FBI. The FBI was offering a $25,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of Corey Dajuan Perry, who was facing charges of producing and receiving child pornography and enticement.

FBI agents arrived at the Delux Inn on Dickerson Pike to arrest Perry and found him with a gunshot wound to the head inside his room. He was taken to Skyline Medical Center where he died.

The U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida issued a warrant for Perry's arrest March 28. He was last seen March 26 and his rental car was found in Ft. Lauderdale April 7. The FBI said he had escaped to Nashville, where he has relatives.

During a raid on Perry's home March 24, "multiple electronic devices" containing images of Palm Beach School District students were found, according to police.
