Afternoon Shooting In Hermitage Injures Walker
The victim was walking with friends in Hermitage Sunday afternoon when a man in a mask shot him from a sedan.
HERMITAGE, TN — A man walking with friends was shot in the leg in Hermitage Sunday afternoon.
Metro Police say the man, who has not been identified, was walking on a sidewalk on Bonnaford Drive with a group of people around 3:40 p.m. Sunday when a black sedan pulled up, a masked man leaped out and fired shots at the group. The victim was struck in the leg and taken to Skyline Medical Center. His injuries are not life-threatening.
The rest of the group ran off after the shooting and the victim is not cooperating with police.
