Body Found In Cumberland River Near East Bank

NASHVILLE, TN — A man's body was discovered in the Cumberland River Wednesday night, according to the Nashville Fire Department.

The body was located around 6 p.m. in the 500 block of Davidson Street, just east of the Silliman Evans Bridge and about one river mile from Nissan Stadium.

The man was not identified and no further information was available.
