Body Found In Neely's Bend Ditch

Police say the death is "likely unnatural" and the body is "severely decayed."

NASHVILLE, TN — A body has been found in a ditch in the Neely's Bend area near Madison.

The body was discovered just before 8:30 p.m. Monday on Hudson Road near Pinewood Acres Drive.

Police, detectives and crime scene investigators were all on the scene late Monday with police saying the person's death was "likely unnatural."

It appears the body may have been in the ditch for some time.
