Burglars Split After Striking Donelson Bowling Alley
A Donelson bowling alley was spared any loss as burglars failed to break through the roof.
DONELSON, TN — Donelson Strike & Spare was the scene of an attempted burglary following a pattern that's been seen across Middle Tennessee.
Metro Police say the suspects cut the power to the bowling alley some time in the wee hours of Monday morning and entered via the roof, but found themselves stuck on the floor above the alley itself and could not make entry. Similar thefts — which have resulted in ATMs, coin machines and safes being stolen — have been reported at bowling alleys and bars in Metro and in the Clarksville area.
