Burglary at Chinese Restaurant Nets Empty Cash Register: Report
The break-in took place at Hunan Express; police are investigating.

NASHVILLE, TN — The police are looking for a thief or thieves who broke into a Chinese restaurant, stole a cash register, and then left it outside when they realized it was empty, according to a media report.
The burglary occurred early Thursday morning at the Hunan Express, 920 Gallatin Ave., when the thieves broke in through the drive-up window, WKRN-TV News 2 reported.
Detectives from the Metro Nashville Police went to the scene Thursday morning. Nothing was stolen in the burglary, and the owner told the TV station that Hunan Express would open for business at 11 a.m.
