Camera Catches East Nashville Carjacking Suspect
Police have recovered the carjacked SUV but are still working to find the suspect.
MADISON, TN — A Walmart security camera grabbed a fairly clear shot of a man wanted by police in a carjacking but investigators need help identifying him.
Police say two men traveling from Virginia to Colorado stopped at the Dickerson Pike Walmart just after 10 p.m. Sunday. While the road-trippers were resting, an armed man, who had earlier tried to enter the Walmart, approached them, held them up and then sped off with an accomplice in their Jeep Cherokee.
The vehicle was recovered late Monday about a mile and a half away on Village Trail.
