Car-Surfing Hermitage Teen Suffers Severe Head Trauma
The McGavock student apparently fell from the trunk of a car into a Hermitage intersection.

HERMITAGE, TN — A McGavock High School student suffered severe head trauma after he fell from the back of a moving car. Metro Police believe he may have been engaged in high-risk "car surfing."
Two women walking through their Hermitage neighborhood found the teen lying in an intersection after having previously seeing him sitting on the trunk of a car, they told NewsChannel 5.
"We saw them drive past and he was sitting on the back of the car, and we were just saying something bad is going to happen," Sierra Drake told the station.
