Donelson Blaze Injures Firefighter
A quickly spreading Jade Drive house fire destroyed a home and damaged a car.
DONELSON, TN — A Nashville firefighter is recovering from minor injuries suffered during an early Sunday Donelson house fire.
Nashville Fire Department crews responded to a home on Jade Drive around 1:30 a.m. A fire which began in the laundry room had quickly spread to the kitchen and attic. The homeowner awoke after hearing shattering glass. She was not injured.
The firefighter's injuries are minor. The home, however, is a total loss and a vehicle was also damaged.
