East Nashville Drive-By Injures 1

EAST NASHVILLE, TN — A man standing outside his home in the James Cayce Homes was shot in an apparent drive-by, according to Metro Police.

Metro Police received several reports of shots fired in the area of South Seventh Street around 10:30 p.m. Saturday and a half-hour later, a man walked into Skyline Medical Center with a gunshot wound.

The man told police he was standing on the sidewalk when a white four-door car drove up and someone inside opened fire.

The man is expected to fully recover.
