East Nashville Home Invasion Injures 1
A man was shot in the hip during an apparent home invasion near McFerrin Park.
EAST NASHVILLE, TN — An East Nashville man is hospitalized after he was shot in the hip during an apparent home invasion early Wednesday morning.
Metro Police believe the would-be burglar broke into the house on Cleveland Street near McFerrin Park around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday, entering through a window and then shooting the resident in the hip.

The victim was taken to the hospital and his injuries are not life-threatening, police said.
The suspect, who was wearing a ski mask, has dreadlocks. No other information was immediately available.
