East Nashville Teen Robs Classmate At Gunpoint: Police
An 18-year-old held up a classmate Saturday, stealing a phone and $200 in cash.
EAST NASHVILLE, TN — An 18-year-old is charged with holding up a classmate at gunpoint in East Nashville Saturday night.
The victim was walking on South Eighth Street to visit his sister around 10:30 Saturday night when Keanthony Jones got his attention. When the victim, who recognized Jones from school, approached him, Jones pulled out a gun and allegedly said "I'm not playing with you, give me everything in your pockets," according to an affidavit.

The victim handed over his iPhone and Jones also stole more than $200 in cash, his bus card and school ID, according to investigators.
Jones was arrested Tuesday, charged with aggravated assault.
