Gunman Robs East Nashville Gas Station, BBQ Joint

Nashville police are looking for a man who held up a Shell station and Drifter's BBQ this week.

EAST NASHVILLE, TN — Investigators believe the same man is behind stick-ups at two East Nashville businesses this week.

A man entered the Shell at 4800 Gallatin Pike at 11:45 Wednesday, drew a gun and demanded cash from the register. He took money and fled on foot.

Police believe it was the same man who spent an hour at Drifter's BBQ Tuesday evening before robbing everyone inside. The man left the restaurant to have a cigarette and then came back inside, pulled a gun and demanded money and personal belongings from the business and the seven people inside, including employees and other patrons.
