HERMITAGE, TN — A man armed with a sawed-off shotgun made off with $22 in a robbery early Tuesday morning.
Police say the man walked into the Delta Express at Old Hickory Boulevard and Central Pike just after midnight and demanded the cash from the register. Having scored a grand total of $22, he fled as police arrived.
Investigators are looking for a 6'0" black man with long, straight hair down his back, which may, in fact, be a wig.
