Holiday Weekend Hermitage Burglary Spree Targets Sleeping Residents
Several homes in a secluded, far eastern section of Davidson County were broken into over Easter weekend.

HERMITAGE, TN — In a secluded area in the far reaches of Davidson County, a burglar struck several homes over Easter weekend.
It's almost impossible to be any farther east in Davidson County than the intersection of Alvin Sperry Road and Stewarts Ferry Pike near Percy Priest Lake and within spitting distance of the Wilson County line, but break-ins can occur anywhere, as a handful of homeowners in the area learned over the holiday weekend.

Metro Police say at least two homes were burglarized between 2 a.m. and 4:30 a.m. Sunday, with car keys taken from both. One homeowner also had a BlueTooth headset stolen and another had his archery bow taken, according to WKRN.
One neighbor saw a person walking toward a four-door sedan around 4 a.m., but could not offer police a description due to the darkness.
