K-9 Cop Nabs Hermitage Robbery Suspect
A Vanderbilt University police officer's Hermitage home was broken into and one suspect was arrested with the help of a K-9 officer.

HERMITAGE, TN — A robbery suspect eluded human detection for hours after an alleged burglary in Hermitage early Monday, but he couldn't bamboozle a K-9 officer.
Two men allegedly broke into a home on Jacksonian Drive in Hermitage and were able to escape into some nearby riverside woods, hiding out for hours, until one of them was tracked down by the K-9 and arrested.

The homeowner, Chris Clawson, is a Vanderbilt University police officer, according to WKRN. The burglars stole several bikes and an ATV after prying open the garage door, though some of the bikes were ditched when the suspects ran into the woods.
One of the pair is still at large.
