Madison Man Shot In Head During Home Invasion Survives

MADISON, TN — Despite being shot in the head, a Madison man is recovering after a Thursday night home invasion.

The man, who has not been identified, was visiting his mother on May Drive when two men in hoodies busted through the back door and demanded narcotics. After a brief exchange, one of the men shot the victim in the back of the head.

The man was conscious and alert on his way to Vanderbilt University Medical Center; he has non-life-threatening injuries.

One of the suspects is a white male. No description was available for the second. Both men were dressed in black from head to toe and fled on foot.
