Man Dies After East Nashville Hookah Bar Shootout
A 27-year-old man died after being shot in the head during a gunfight outside of Cloud IX in East Nashville.
EAST NASHVILLE, TN — A man shot during an apparent gunfight outside of an East Nashville hookah bar has died.
Police were called to Cloud IX at the intersection of Gallatin Road and Stratford Avenue around 1:15 a.m. Sunday. Nigel Phil, 27, was found with a gunshot wound to the head. Phil was taken to Skyline Medical Center where he later died.

Witnesses told police that at least two people were shooting at one another in the parking lot. The suspected shooter is described as a black man wearing a white shirt and blue jeans.
