Man Kidnapped in East Nashville Escapes Captors, Flees to Williamson County
A man taken in broad daylight at an East Nashville gas station managed to escape his captors and flee to the county line.

EAST NASHVILLE, TN — A man who said he was kidnapped in an East Nashville parking lot managed to fight off his captors and flee to Williamson County despite being assaulted.
Metro Police were called to the Speedway gas station at 2600 Gallatin Pike where witnesses say two men assaulted a third and then threw him into the back of a car and drove off.
The victim managed to escape and then made it into Williamson County, where he called the sheriff's department and let them know he was safe and in their jurisdiction. The victim suffered minor injuries, but his captors stole his car.

Investigators say they have identified a possible suspect and working to locate him. The attack, police say, is connected to an earlier dispute.
