Man Shot, Critically Injured Near Popular East Nashville Bar
A shooting near Red Door East may have been connected to a carjacking, police say.
EAST NASHVILLE, TN — A man is critically injured after being shot in the chest near a popular East Nashville watering hole.
The man, who Metro Police say is in his 30s, stumbled into Red Door East on Forrest Drive just before 8 p.m. Friday with a gunshot wound in his chest. He was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
Police believe the shooting may have been connected to a carjacking about a block from the bar. Investigators say the suspect may be driving a maroon PT Cruiser.
