Man Shot, Store Damaged in East Nashville Robbery
Three armed men robbed another and shot up the windows of the Shelby Avenue Exxon.

EAST NASHVILLE, TN — A man was injured when he was shot during an attempted armed robbery at an East Nashville gas station early Friday morning.
Police say the man was at the Exxon on Shelby Avenue just across the Korean War Veterans Memorial Bridge from downtown when he was approached by three men who attempted to rob him. The victim was shot in the leg and taken to St. Thomas Midtown.
The suspects were described as three black men in a brown Ford Explorer.
