Man Stabbed by Two Teens During East Nashville Robbery

Two juveniles fled after stabbing a robbery victim near Douglas Park late Monday.

EAST NASHVILLE, TN — A man walking home to his apartment late Monday was stabbed during a robbery near Douglas Park. The victim said he was attacked by two teenagers.

The man was on the 400 block of North Eighth Street when he was approached by the two juveniles, who demanded money. One of the two stabbed the man in the leg and the pair fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. The victim attempted to treat his own wound, but called the police an hour after the crime occurred and was eventually taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

One suspect was wearing blue jeans and the other had dreadlocks. No other description was immediately available.
