Money, Menthols Stolen from Donelson Mapco

DONELSON, TN — An armed man held up a Donelson Pike convenience store early Wednesday morning, absconding with cash and cigarettes.

Metro Police say a man entered the Mapco at 465 Donelson Pike around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday, pulled out a handgun and demanded money and Newport cigarettes, fleeing after the clerk complied.

The suspect — described as a black man in a black jacket wearing glasses and with a thin mustache — sped away in a white or silver Toyota.

Earlier in the evening, another man was arrested for an armed robbery at the Mapco just up the road in the 500 block of Donelson Pike.
