Nashville Delivery Man Won't Help Partner Install Dishwasher, Pulls Gun Instead: Police
Metro Police charged delivery driver Kevin Simon with two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon
EAST NASHVILLE, TN — All he wanted was some help installing a dishwasher, but all he got was back talk, a gun pulled on him and a truck chasing him across a yard.
Metro Police say that Kevin Simon and a co-worker were dropping off a dishwasher at a home on Matthews Avenue Friday. The co-worker asked Simon to move an appliance out of the home while he installed a dishwasher. Simon allegedly refused, the co-worker said he was going to call a supervisor and an argument followed, during which Simon followed the man, then got in the box truck and chased the man across the yard, according to police.
Simon then left, but returned about 20 minutes later, according to police, and pulled a gun on his (one would assume) now-former co-worker saying "What's up now?".
