Nashville Police Seize 500 Pills in Arrest of Father-Son Duo

Police say a father-son team sold 100 painkiller pills imported from the Philippines to an undercover officer.

NASHVILLE, TN — Metro Police arrested a 38-year-old man and his 70-year-old father after the pair allegedly sold 100 Roxicodone painkiller pills to an undercover officer.

Jeffery Pignone, 38, and his father Anthony Pignone, 70, both of Bethpage, are facing felony drug counts after meeting with an undercover police officer to sell 100 pills of the opioid.

Investigators arrested the pair after Jeffrey sold 100 pills to an undercover officer for $2,000 in a Donelson Pike parking lot.

Father Anthony drove his son to the deal. Police found another 400 pills inside the car, which Anthony admitted he knew were in the car and that they were for sale. Jeffrey said the pills were imported from the Philippines.

Jeffery was released from jail after posting a $50,000 bond, and Anthony posted a $20,000 bond.
