Meter Reader Carjacked in East Nashville, Suspect Flees in NES Truck
The female NES worker was shot twice in the leg before the truck was stolen near Cleveland Park.
EAST NASHVILLE, TN — A gunman shot a meter reader near Cleveland Park just before 8 a.m. Monday and then fled in her white NES truck.
The meter reader was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. The NES truck was found a short distance from the scene.
The suspect is a young man, between 16 and 20-years-old, and was wearing a blue hat, white shirt, and blue jeans.
