None Injured In Wild Inglewood Shootout

More than 25 shots were fired in Inglewood, riddling cars with bullets.

INGLEWOOD, TN — Dozens of shots rang out in an Inglewood neighborhood Thursday night during a frenzied shootout.

Police said it began after a man tried to escape someone shooting at him as he was on his way home. He told police a car followed him and then someone in the pursuit vehicle began firing. Eventually, the victim, who has a concealed-carry permit, crawled out of his car and returned fire.

While more than 25 shots were fired in the exchange, no one was hurt, though mailboxes were destroyed and cars of neighborhood residents were riddled with bullet holes.
