One Arrested After Ramming State Trooper During Chase
Driver hit a THP cruiser twice and another car during the I-24 pursuit.
NASHVILLE, TN — One person is behind bars after ramming a state trooper's car during a high-speed chase.
A Tennessee Highway Patrol officer tried to pull over the driver for speeding on Interstate 24 Sunday, but the driver refused to pull over and the pursuit continued to Dickerson Road and Briley Parkway. During the chase, the suspect hit an unconnected car and also rammed the trooper's cruiser twice.
The driver was taken into custody and charged. The identity of the suspect is unknown.
