Investigators say the parents of Adeline Bible turned off her oxygen monitor after her oxygen level fell dangerously low.

HERMITAGE, TN — The parents of a four-month-old girl who died just days after being released from the hospital in 2015 have been charged with murder.

Rachel D. Jarrett, 35, and Dale R. Bible, 42, were indicted for murder and arrested late Thursday at a Hermitage hotel. They are accused of being responsible for the death of their daughter, Adeline Bible, who was born prematurely. Adeline was released from the hospital with oxygen equipment and a heart monitor just a few days before her September 20, 2015 death. That day she was rushed by ambulance from the family's East Webster Street home in Madison to Skyline Medical Center where she died.

Investigators says her heart/oxygen monitor was turned off early on the evening of September 19th and allege that both parents are knew her oxygen level had fallen to a dangerously low level before the equipment was deactivated.
