Police ID Woman Found in East Nashville Ditch

INGLEWOOD, TN — Metro Police identified the woman whose body was found in an Inglewood ditch over the weekend.

Investigators say the woman is 46-year-old Teresa Carlson whose last known address was in Franklin. Her family, who lives out of state, said she may have been staying with friends or acquaintances at various locations.

A homeowner found Carlson’s body in a dry creek bed near Sunnymeade Drive Saturday afternoon.

Officials are investigating to find out if Carlson died elsewhere and was then brought to the creek bed. An autopsy did not reveal a cause of death.
