Police Searching For Gunmen in Brazen East Nashville Shooting

EAST NASHVILLE, TN — Police are looking for suspects who shot a man three times in full view of witnesses at the intersection of Chester and Scott avenues in East Nashville Tuesday night.

The victim was shot at least three times — in the back, side and head — but is recovering with non-life-threatening injuries. Witnesses told police they saw the victim standing with three other people, when one of the trio pulled out a gun, shot the victim and then stood over him and continued firing.

The gunman and his companions then fled by foot towards Porter Street.
