Suspects Sought in Overnight Opryland-Area Crime Spree

DONELSON, TN — A trio of thieves targeted three Opryland-area convenience stores overnight.

Metro Police say the thieves busted the window of a BP on McGavock Pike with a rock around 1:45 a.m., and finding no cash, filled a trash bag with cigarette cartons. The same group is also suspected for attemting to break into a Shell on Gallatin Pike, where their efforts were flummoxed by plexiglass.

Later, surveillance cameras caught the trio at the Kwik Sak on Gallatin Pike, where they left after the alarm went off.

Police say the suspects were in a grey or silver SUV.
