A witness told investigators that Roy Hunter was sitting in the driver's seat of a car in a parking lot on the 1000 block of North Dupont Avenue Saturday afternoon, talking with Javonte Robinson, sitting in the passenger seat, and a third person sitting in the backseat. As that third person left the car and walked into a breezeway of a nearby apartment complex, two other people walked up to the car and began shooting.

The shooters then pulled Hunter and Robinson from the black Infinity and drove off. The car was found abandoned on nearby Rio Vista Drive.
