Woman Dies After Being Hit by Car on Trinity Lane

A woman crossing Trinity Lane at the I-65 underpass was killed after being hit by a car.

NASHVILLE, TN — A woman died after being hit by a car while crossing Trinity Lane at the Interstate 65 underpass early Friday morning.

Metro Police say the woman was pronounced dead on the scene and was in the middle of a dark road and not near a crosswalk when she was hit.

The driver is cooperating with the investigation and is not expected to face charges.
