Woman Hit, Killed by Car in East Nashville

EAST NASHVILLE, TN — A woman was killed after being hit by a car Saturday night in East Nashville.

Police say Maggue Muse, 53 was hit by a Chrysler 200 at the intersection of Greenwood Avenue and Gallatin Road around 7:15 p.m. She was leaving the nearby Camille's Market and was not in the crosswalk when she was hit. She was taken to Skyline Medical Center, where she died.

The investigation is ongoing, but the driver was not charged on the scene.
