Box Cutter-Wielding Shoplifter Arrested, Accomplice At-Large: Franklin Police
Franklin Police arrested a 52-year-old accused of robbing a Belk at box-cutter-point, but his alleged accomplice absconded.

FRANKLIN, TN — An alleged shoplifter is accused of threatening Belk employees with a box-cutter after they called police during a robbery and another suspect is on the run.
Franklin Police were called to Belk around 5 p.m. Monday on a report of a robbery in progress. Before they arrived, 52-year-old Archie Goodner allegedly threatened store employees with a box cutter. Goodner was arrested on the scene and charged with theft and two counts of aggravated assault. He is being held on a $37,500 bond.
A second suspect — 36-year-old Alicia Edwards — allegedly fled before officers' arrival.
