  1. The Chukkers for Charity polo match has announced its return to Franklin this September. Chukkers for Charity, a family-friendly fundraising event benefiting Rochelle Center and Saddle Up!, features top polo players and draws attendees across the Midstate. This year's match, scheduled for Saturday, Sep. 10 at Riverview Farm, includes halftime entertainment by Johnny & the Devil's Box. (Williamson Source)
  2. On Tuesday, the Franklin Board of Mayor and Alderman voted to move the Brownland Farm zoning ordinance to a public hearing scheduled for Apr. 26. The ordinance seeks to rezone the former equestrian pub for mixed-use development, including the building of housing units. Over 2,800 people have signed a petition on change.org called "OPPOSE High Density and Mixed-Use Development on Brownland Farm." (williamsonherald.com)
  3. Have you ever wanted to see the zoo after hours? The Nashville Zoo's new Night Visions exhibit, opening Apr. 17 and running through Jul. 17, offers whimsical views of the grounds after dark.
