1. A star-studded music memorial honoring a Franklin Police Department officer will take place next month at The Nashville Palace. Officer Jeff Carson was a country music hitmaker who earned an Academy of Country Music award before retiring to pursue his lifelong dream of a career in law enforcement. Carson's memorial concert will take place on Tuesday, May 10, at 7:00 p.m., with proceeds benefitting Franklin's Law Enforcement Assistance Partnership. (Franklin PD News)
2. The Franklin Police Department is offering a cash reward for anyone who can help identify a man wanted for using a stolen credit card. 3. The Williamson County Schools Board of Education has voted to deny an application by Founders Classical Academy to operate within the county. The decision was made in a 10-1 vote on Monday, with board member Dan Cash abstaining.
