• Visit Franklin Named Tennessee Tourism Organization of the Year (williamsonsource.com) — Franklin's tourism agency, Visit Franklin, has been named Tennessee's large-market Destination Marketing Organization of the Year for the second straight year, highlighting the city and Williamson County's growing visitor appeal. The group's branding work, ambassador program, and national media coverage helped drive nearly 8.83 million visitors, over $1.38 billion in spending, and millions in local tax revenue supporting schools and hospitality jobs.
   

• Tennessee student accused of stealing Auburn secrets never worked for Vols (tennessean.com subscription) — A 24-year-old Franklin resident, David Rudolph Jenrath, has been charged with theft of trade secrets and computer tampering after allegedly sharing Auburn football recruiting information with multiple schools. He's now enrolled at the University of Tennessee but never worked for UT athletics, and the case is adding intrigue ahead of the upcoming Auburn–Tennessee matchup.
